Assured Quality Homecare Achieves CHAP Accreditation in RI
We’re proud to announce that Assured Quality Homecare, RI has officially earned accreditation from the Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP) — a significant achievement that places us among the most trusted and qualified homecare providers in the country.
This prestigious recognition reaffirms our unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that helps individuals thrive at home — safely, independently, and with dignity.
What Is CHAP and Why It Matters
CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Partner) is the first and longest-standing accrediting body in home healthcare, originally established in 1965 as a joint venture between the American Public Health Association and the National League for Nursing.
As an independent, nonprofit organization, CHAP holds home and community-based healthcare providers to the highest standards of excellence in:
- Patient safety
- Quality of care
- Operational integrity
- Staff education and support
To receive CHAP accreditation, an agency must undergo a rigorous review of its services, policies, training, and care practices — and we’re proud to have passed with flying colors.
What This Means for Families and Clients in Rhode Island
With this accreditation, families across Rhode Island can trust that Assured Quality Homecare is:
- Meeting national benchmarks for safety, professionalism, and care
- Providing thoroughly trained caregivers through our Empower Training Academy
- Equipped to deliver specialized services, including care for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia
“You can trust in our commitment to deliver excellence,” says our founder, Samanta Roseme, RN. “Our dedicated care professionals are graduates of our training academy. This ensures that they provide home care services of the highest quality, setting a gold standard for excellence.”
Addressing a Growing Need for Quality Homecare
As the need for senior care grows — with 77% of adults over 50 preferring to age in place (AARP) and nearly 13 million Americans expected to be living with Alzheimer’s by 2050 (Alzheimer’s Association) — the homecare workforce is shrinking.
In fact, there’s been a 12% decline in the number of homecare workers since 2013. This makes innovative, high-quality homecare more important than ever.
At Assured Quality Homecare, we’re leading the way forward:
- In 2017, we launched our award-winning Empower Training Academy to prepare exceptional caregivers.
- In 2024, we introduced the Healthy Mind Program, based on SAIDO® Learning, to support cognitive function and wellbeing in seniors with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
